31 days clean!

OK, for all of you out there just starting this trek to being clean and sober....I will tell you that making it to 30 days is a better high than I ever had on my loritab!!  And if any of you read any of my previous posts...where I was anxious and depressed...not sure if I could get here....well not only am I here, I am NOT going back!!!!  I am not 100% yet but I am doing everything in my power to get there.  I refuse to let drugs rule me anymore...although I will also not be naive to the fact that they could slip back in if I am not completely on guard...and very proactive in my personal care...especially with doctors.  I have told all my local pharmacies not to give it to me...told all of my doctors about the problem...really tried to cover myself as best as I could...told EVERYONE I know in fact.  I am done....finished.  Anyway, I just wanted to give an update and hopefully encourage those who are in the first few days...the worst days...but they pass....really they do!!!  and it is so worth it!!!

Congratulations on 32 days! It really is worth the first few days of suffering to feel better in the long run, eh? I'm 24 days clean myself, and feeling pretty good. Sounds like you sure did cover all the bases by telling your docs and pharmacies. That takes courage, my friend. Stay strong and congrats again!
