Symptoms look different to herpes

Hey just found out from the doctor that I'm likely to have herpes but it's not blisters it's more like blackheads I'm only just finding out about all this stuff and I'm wondering if that's a normal symptom or if it's a different thing all together. The best way I can describe it is that its on the shaft underneath near the scrotum and it's it's just a a couple lumps in the hair folicals that I can squeeze like a blackhead no hair grows out of them it's also on my chest also have no hair on my chest.

Months but it's been constant before and after it doesn't really go away or get much worse. Just lately I dono if it's washing it with harsh soap I only found out just before shampoo is no good for washing down there can a yeast or thrush infection have similar symptoms as herpes? Thanks for answering my questions it's hard to talk about this kinda stuff but if everyone did everyone would be more aware and safe it's nice to know people are willing to help

I can best help you once you post your test results - e.g. hsv1 igg 6.9 and hsv2 igg 3.3 or whatever your blood test results are.

how long prior to this had you last had sex?

I forgot they also don't get past that stage they squeeze like black heads and then just builds up  again but I do think it's spreading just slowly around the area that's squeezed. It's all just really confusing I guess I'll get the test for herpes and if that doesn't come back with positive I dono what else to think maybe fungal or allergies I just don't know
