The easiest for me was to get a mini trampoline and bounce 3-4x a wk for 20-30min each time. Easy peasy! Put music on and bounce to music. Get a timer and time it for the minutes. Don't keep looking at the timer! Just bounce to music. Then if it's raining or snowing out you don't have to walk. You can bounce in your own house. A good one costs $200, but in a pinch you can buy one at Walmart for under $30. It will do, but the better one is SOO much better! I have a bad back and can't walk more than 2 blocks, but i can bounce. You can do it fast or slow or medium. Also cleans out the lymph nodes when you bounce up and down and makes the immunity better.
I would start out slowly. Make smaller goals like walking down the block and back, then walking two blocks and so on. Be consistent to develop a habit and it will become easier. If you can find someone to walk with you it would also be a good motivator.
I have high bp as well. Gotta tough it out. You have two choices. Continue on the path of excuses and have a hearty attack stroke, or get it together and live comfy. My Dr. Still hasn't managed to get my meds correct been for diff meds to figure why I'm still having adverse reactions. I know good reading habits exercising getting out more helped and helps. Make it a resolution to get out more with nature, smell the air, etc. You can do it!
