Thinking of you..... sorry to hear about the jump in CA..... try to hang in there before meeting with the doctor.
Meg
Chris, & Paula,
Those drugs are given in different protocols because tests have proven they work best in certain ways, ie carbo/taxol is given every 3rd week, gemzar is day 1 and day 8 etc. I am sure that your numbers are off because your chemos were interrupted. Once you get back on track with it I am sure your numbers will come down. Good luck you guys and try to have a stress free day. That is my goal for the day.
Love ya both,
Jan
Chris,
Just wanted to say that I am sorry to hear about your numbers, but am hoping as the others said that it will change now that your BP issues are gone. I will keep you in my prayers!

Hey Chris...so sorry to hear about the rise in your numbers - I can only imagine how scary that must feel. I agree though, that looking at the big picture is probably the right thing to do. Your BP issues could definatly have affected everything (with your chemo being interruppted and all) but now that your back on track, hopefully it will straighten back out.
Take care,
Becky

My thoughts are with you..

Dearest Chris - I think stress could be the main factor. I know how you feel though, any rise in ca-125 freaks us all out even if it's only by 2 points. You are in my prayers sweetie. Stay strong! Love ya! D
I am wishing you well and know that I think of you often...Give your body a chance to recoup from all your BP issues and you will see the numbers will drop...stress plays a great factor in your health ....I am sending positive prayers your way along with good wishes and thoughts...Gia :)
Thinking of you.
Sincerely,
Mary
So sorry you guys are going through this.....please know you are in my heart and prayers. Hang in there ladies and know there are many of us hanging in there with you.
Peace.

Hi Chris, I went today, and my dr. looked at the ct I did a couple of weeks ago. She thinks the rise in in the fluid in my plueral cavity. I asked why it was there and she said my main mass was up near that area. She didn't seemed concerned about the number being more than before my original surgery. She told me to stop trying to dig my grave that there was all this stuff left besides what I figured , so I will just go with the program for now.
I think the interruptions probably affected you and Paulas numbers. That sounds logical.
Oh Chris...sorry the CA jumped a bit. You have had some ups and downs with the BP so lets just wait until your body gets back on track. I'll join you and Paula in the NOT to worry seat.
OK, how about if you and I don't worry together? I had another CA 125 today and will probably find out the results at chemo on Friday. But, whatever that number is I'm still gonna wait to worry for a couple more weeks until I get the results after my next next tx. Still, I'm sorry your number went up but I think you're thinking right and looking at the whole picture which is similar to mine where my chemo was interrupted for a whole month by two hospitalizations and surgery. How can that not confuse things as your BP problems did for you? Hang in there, Chris...Paula
