Subs, Detox, Valuim.

Can valuim be taken during the last phase of taper on subs? Dr seems to think so as he prescribed, them, But then again he told me to do some other things that made no sense either, and im almost done with this 21 day detox maybe sooner than the 21 days, and that is my plan not his. 21 days and even soonerTruth be told i have alot of anxiety and i just want to relax and get some sleep tonite...Long story..

:) Thanks. Keep in mind that you could always just take the smallest amount possible to take the edge off instead of sticking to the 1/4. Hold out as long as you can tomorrow and if/when you do take something, take a sliver I bet it will help and make it bearable. That's kinda where I'm at. I wait as long as I can then I take such a ridiculously small amount I jokingly call it fairy dust... It would definitely help you taper quicker as well. You'll spend a bit more time being uncomfortable but it could be worth it.

Yea , im preparing for the worst. But i started with aobut 8 days of 1 sub. then 3 days of 3/4s then 3 days of 1/2 now 1/4 , i feel it but it comes in waves for sure and now its starting to turn into full time. I will hold out as long as i can on taking anything.Still have to work tommorow. Maybe i wil just take a 1/4 valuim Thanks Cat for all yor help.. Your great...

Absolutely the less the better really. Doctors don't know much do they? I'm training to be a medical transcriptionist, so I listen to doctors dictating patient's reports all day long. You would be terrified to know how many times they screw up and say the wrong medication or flat out prescribe the wrong one etc etc. Freaks me out for sure!
Take 1/2 a Valium - it will probly knock you on your asss. That's awesome about the sub! Remember, you won't feel the full effects of the drop until Saturday so prepare yourself mentally. Your doing great man - go get some sleep tho!! :)

I was thinking more aong the lines of 1/2 of a 5 mil  My Dr told me to take 3 a day!!! I only took a 1/4 sub today

Hey G - you can take some valium along with the sub to get some much-needed sleep. Being on sub will magnify the effects of the benzo - so do NOT take alot. If you have 5mg pills I imagine 1 would do you just fine. Overdoing it could cause serious respiratory depression and you really don't want to do that! Get some sleep my friend.
