Its That Time! June 2014 Roll Call!!

This year is sure flying by. Its already June! So anyways...here we are. This thread is a place where you can post your clean time or just introduce yourself. You do not have to be clean to post here. If your "lurking" take this as an opportunity to introduce yourself. If you have some clean time, post it so it can encourage and inspire others by showing them it can be done.

This forum is a great place. Old and new members alike contribute everyday and share whats worked for them in recovery. I like to encourage that because there are so many different recovery options out there. You just have to find what works for you. So maybe this roll call could be a little different this time and not only can people share there clean time but also what program they use to stay clean. Just a thought anyways.

I am new to this forum, Just posted today. Day 3 of coming of Ultrams. Every comment I have read here is done in such a loving and caring way. I have a post that tells all about my situation, but this is my relapse. I was clean for 4 years on a hydro addiction. Everyone says that the second time around is harder than the first. We shall see. I know first and foremost, God is in my corner. My husband doesn't have a clue, my son doesn't have a clue. But that is what I do, I will do anything and everything to hide my addiction. I run marathons, and I know that my running is going to take a major hit. That's ok. I'd rather start over, than to keep on in addiction. I hate this evil thing!!!! But PRAISE GOD, TODAY I AM CLEAN!!!

Yeah...Tomskat hasn't posted one of these in like a year I think. Hopefully she is just busy with life. I always post these on the 2nd or 3rd of every month instead of the 1st in case she pops back up and wants to post it. I feel like these are important and need to be posted.

I quit using roxies coke and morphine almost 14 months ago (on june 10) so glad I don't stick a needle in my arm anymore. I'm currently on a methadone maintence program at a clinic but I'm slowly weaning off! I'm so happy to hear others who have successfully weaned off! Makes me HOPEFUl that I can do it too!!! I'm so proud of myself and everyone else here on MH! We are AWESOME!!!!
