Today is Day 4, but I have a true test coming over Christmas break

I was very addicted to Lortabs and was taking over 200 mg a day for almost 10 years. Well today is day 4 and I'm feeling MUCH better than the last 3 days!! I'm finally past the hard part. BUT, when I go back home for Christmas, I have friends and family who take Lortabs (and are addicted) and everyday I've been thinking about getting "just two pills" from someone. But I know that's what made me relapse the last 3 times I quit . . so please, someone knock some sense into me!! I know I shouldn't take anymore, but it's the lie "Just 2 won't hurt."

Any advice on what I can do to stay strong?

I am glad your family knows.  Hopefully the pills will be out of sight.  Stay close to this site during the holidays.         sara

That will be alot of temptation for you over the holiday.  I would really try and stay away from the friends if you can.  If you cant be honest with them and tell them you are clean now and hopefully they will respect that.  If they dont they really arent your friends.  Does your family know about your addiction?
