am scared, suboxone detox

Ive been on suboxone for 2 years, 24mg's a day, 75 8mg's pills a month. I always ran out on day 18, due to my abusen them. For goin on 6-12 months, ive been taken 30-40 mg's a day. My insurance refills on day 20, so i would buy 2 8mg's with cash to hold me over. I have stopped cold turkey, and im not goin back to the doctor, my addictive mind set will just get the 75 pills again. I have not tapered down at all. My last dose was 3 days ago, 32 mg's. The withdrawal is something worse than heroin, pain pills, or any drug. I cant even walk ten feet with out blacking out, my skin is on fire, my bones burn, what do i do, and how much longer will this last? Am i in danger?

Hey~  That's way too high a dose to jump from.  I can't even advise you at this point.
Wouldn't know where to begin...So,I'll say this:
Get to an Urgent Care Clinic as soon as you can!!  I know there are several facilities in College Station so call a taxi and go to the nearest one. Tell them what you've done and they'll take it from there...

one thing i didnt mention, im taken clonodine, which doesnt feel like its working, but i do notice a slight help from klonopin. i cant go to urgent care, there gonna say, go see ur doctor, we dont give narcotics. in the past, ive run out of subs, and doc was gone, so i was left to suffer. Also, im an extreme addict, i know if i go see my suboxone doctor, ill just stay quiet and leave with 75 8mg's. im weak, dont think less of me for that, but at a low point.

I don't think less of you. This is not a place of judgement at all!   It's just that most folks taper to a much lower dose before they stop so I can't imagine what you're feeling. And,I really don't know for sure if what you did was safe...
Hang on...I'll check around for someone who might help you..But,are you sure the urgent care won't help?  Right now you're sick...

this is day 3, i can survive this feeling for a few more days. im off work, and my recently divorced wife is gonna watch my daughter. But my fear is the hypertension will elevate to heart palpatations like it did one time i ran out too early. From there, heart attack is next, if im not mistaken. I think the only thing keepin me from the palpatations, is the massive amount of klonopin im taken to calm my anxiety. Ive called several urgent cares the time i ran out early, but no help. One thing i want to make clear, i do not want subs, none at all. I will just get back on them, and the hell im goin through will have been for nothing. Honestly, im not sure, but a low script of high dose percosets, alprozalom, or opanas(low dose and few given) i think could help. I moved to College Station recently, and have zero connects to buy from on the street, so im just gonna suffer, but wanna know how long it'll be. Also, i need to know if im in danger, of death, everything else i can handle, but help to ease the pain would help me make it through.

Hey!  You need to see a doctor, ok?  That is too high of a dose to jump from.  If clonidine and klonopin are not helping any, the next step needs to be seeing a professional.

I need to say WOW! That was sure a high dose to jump off of and I really think you need to speak with a doctor. I was on Suboxone very short-term and most I know who came off of it tapered first.

I understand your anxiety but please be careful and get to the ER if anything serious begins to happen.

We just can't know if you're in danger of death. You're young so that's in your favor. But,that's about it.  Massive amts. of klonopin is not cool. Don't call the urgent care...
they HATE that...just go.At least they'll check your B/P and run an EKG to check your heart. Tell them you don't want subs or pills!  Tell them what you did and that you're scared. They have to help you..

I promise i will if it gets worse, this hell im suffering through, i have a daughter, so trust me, if i fear im goin down medically, i will go to er. But ive done that, they gave me %mg hydros, which for someone who has the tolerance that would kill an average non user, it did nothing. and that was given, only cause they couldnt get ahold of my suboxone doctor. I know i should tell them, when they call my sub doctor, that im quitting, but the idea of getting subs makes me want to get blitzed. Im sorry, i know im asking for help and not really doing what im being told, its just ive been to the er twice for this, running out of subs early. I need a strong opiate, prescribed with less than 20 pills, alprozalom or something. But i give you my word, if i feel close to death, i will get taken to er. I know the feeling, ive over dosed and almost died, but was fully concious, the feeling is unmistakable. thank you, thank all of you

I would take that advice from Vicki. Sub is a fully synthetic replacement therapy that has a long half life. I hate to tell you this but you have only just begun what is going to be a long hard, painful road. If you're abusing the Sub (I didn't even think this was possible) you might be a better candidate for Methadone treatment at a dispensing site. I know you're frustrated with yourself and just want this all to go away but you have to be patient. You didn't get here overnight and you're not getting out of it that fast either. Don't go it alone, you're jumping off from far too high of a dose. Seek medical help ASAP!

I think you should be more concerned about your B/P and heart than getting a strong opiate. Really,what are 20 pills going to do for you?  In 8 hours you'll be back to square one. I don't mean to sound rude at all;just concerned for you.  But,I trust you'll do the right thing if neccessary...

I would reconsider jumping sub really has to be tapered .if u are blacking out that is very serious you are looking at far more then just a few days jumping at you dose . Plz call you doctor let him know u would like him to help u taper off . If u contue to to black out I think u better call 911 or have someone bring u to er let us know what happens

Sorry, by black out, i mean whenever i walk, or stand up quickly, my vision goes blank with stars and i get close to blackin out. I figured that was do to the hypertension

Yup!  Your B/P is way too high especially with all that klonopin on board. Your heartrate
is tachycardic...that's why you're dizzy.  

Time to go to the hospital...forget urgent care. You need an ER!!!!

Hey, im not trying to make you think im ok, but my BP and pulse keep changing. now its sys-98  dia-55 pulse-76, ive checked 3 times. 10 minutes ago, i did the same and checked 3 times, and it was always high. Do u think i possibly could be ok? Never the less, i will be at the er if it gets worse. Do you think they can put me under, pump me with naloxone to rip off the opiates from my receptors, then wake me up the next day? Do er's do that type of stuff?

Please pay attention......YOU NEED TO GO TO THE ER!  I am not kidding and have no motive for telling you this other than I am very concerned.  Your vitals are not stable.

i was on 105 methadone my last dose was 4 days ago i have been taking small doses on xanax and i feel fine right but if i was blacking out i would be at the ER

Listen...we want to help but you put us in a really precarious position. We're not doctors.  Some here have medical experience along with a great deal of personal experience but that's it. This forum is purely anecdotal and offers support and some great suggestions.  Benzos aren't going to help you,your B/P is all over the place,you're dizzy and your body is screaming for help.  The ER will not put you under and detox you. They'll give you fluids and monitor your heart and B/P. They'll know if you're having crazy heartbeats and can give you meds for that. They'll watch your kidney function.
Personally,I don't think you're okay.   Are you alone?  Can you call a friend or someone to stay with you?
