I have to thank Addict3 for drilling into my head those 2 simple words. I never understood how important they were in the beginning. Now they save my life. I am forever grateful to that man~~
WHOA.............seriously? I can't even imagine! I would have probably had the bottle in my hand as I backed against the freezer and then thought better of it! LOL You are SO strong. I know you say it all the time and it's true. Can't even let the guard down for a second. If you had not had the right support, what would have happened?
Good lesson for me and for everyone!!! GUARD UP! : ) Love you, girl! Way to go!
Oh boy, thanks so much for sharing Sarah. It appears to hold a lot of relevance to me. I need to raise my guard even further. Thanks again.
Bryan
Thanks...If YOU can react like that, then it should serve as a lesson to all of us - the mind never stops. A great example of how to handle an unexpected situation. Ah, life!
Sara-- Great job and you are right that demon hangs out and waits patiently ready to pounce. Aftercare is the key to staying sober, as you have drilled into my head very early on and I thank you so much for that.
As far as your co-worker as addicts we never have a problem until we have a problem. I hope she figures it out before she has a problem she may not be able to get out of.---Rick
She needs the forum only she doesnt think she has a problem! Claims she cant eat or drink anything but that reeses peanut butter cup she was munching on sure went down along with a bbq, cookie dough, oreos etc!!
